TrainingWaterWe provide practical, hands-on short courses on water efficiency, rainwater harvesting and greywater systems. The key to the success of our training is the understanding and skills that participants develop.Our popular rainwater harvesting workshop runs for 2.5 hours and is designed for people who are planning to install a rainwater tank system. Topics covered include tank sizing and selection, pumps and how to maintain water quality. We are able to tailor our courses to the audience and have provided training for the community through Local Councils, engineers and architects. Energy EfficiencyOur energy efficeincy training explains what householders and businesses need to know about their bills and how to reduce energy use. Topics covered include; understanding a kiloWatt-hour, basic rules of thumb for understanding energy use and what to look out for in appliances. We also demonstrate how to use portable energy meters and other tools for identifying energy efficiency opportunities.Our trainers have experience gained in our practice across a wide range of topics including selecting energy-efficient appliances, optimising hot water system design, improving thermal performance of buildings and specifying lighting solutions. |
